A ridge 13 km long, extending northward from Mount McClintock along the eastern side of Hinton Glacier. Mapped from air photographs taken by the US Navy. Named by USACAN after R B Forbes of the University of Alaska who made geological studies in the McMurdo Sound area with USN Operation Deepfreeze in 1955-56 and 1962-63.

A ridge about 7 mi long in the Britannia Range, extending N from Mount McClintock along the E side of Hinton Glacier. Named by the US-ACAN for Robert B. Forbes of the University of Alaska, who made geological studies in the McMurdo Sound area with USN OpDFrz, 1955-56, and during the summer season, 1962-63.
