Sighted by members of the ANARE Prince Charles Mountains survey party in February, 1969. Delineated and named in 1952 by Dr. J.H. Roscoe, photogrammetrist with Operation Highjump and USN Operation Windmill (1947-48). Named after Polarerboken, a polar journal published by the Norsk Polarklubb in Oslo, Norway. |
