A glacier on the Wilkes Coast of Wilkes Land, about 41 km WSW of Cape Keltie. Delineated from air photographs taken by USN Operation Highjump (1946-47) and named by USACAN after J.D. Freeman, sailmaker on the sloop Vincennes of the United States Exploring Expedition (1938-42) under Wilkes.
