SW end of Ezcurra Inlet, Admiralty Bay, King George Island, was known to sealers at least from 1822; charted by FAE, 1908-10, in December 1909 and named Anse Goulden (Charcot, 1912, Pl.1). Goulden Cove (BA chart 3213, 14.i.1929; APC, 1955, p.11; BA chart 1774, 14.ix.1962). Caleta Goulden (Chile. DNH chart 502, 1947; Pierrou, 1970, p. 397; Chile. IHA, 1974, p.139). The cove was photographed from the air by FIDASE in 1956.

The southern of two coves at the head of Ezcurra Inlet, Admiralty Bay, on King George Island, in the South Shetland Islands. Probably named by the FrAE under Charcot, who surveyed Admiralty Bay in December 1909.

Probablemente fue denominada por la Expedición Antártica Francesa al mando del Dr. Jean B. Charcot, quien levantó bahía Almirantazgo en diciembre de 1909. Es la más al S de dos caletas de ensenada Escurra de bahía Almirantazgo en la isla Rey Jorge, de las islas Shetland del Sur. Dentro de la caleta se descargan glaciares, los cuales desprenden continuamente escombros de hielo.
