Replotted from air photos and surveys by NorAE, 1956-60, and named for Rolf Johnson, steward with NorAE, 1958-59.

A cluster of detached peaks (Norwegian name Johnsonhorna) which mark the N extremity of Mittlere Petermannkette, flowed round by the glaciers vestre Svarthornbreen in the W and Svarthornbreen in the E, 2 km W of the solitary mountain Schneide, Wohlthatmassiv, Fimbulheimen, Neuschwabenland, Dronning Maud Land. Discovered during German Antarctic Expedition 1938/39 ('Neuschwabenland-Expedition') under Alfred Ritscher.
