Island 1.5 mi long, lying 1 mi SE of Shaula Island in the S part of the Oygarden Group. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from aerial photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37, and called by them Karm (coaming). First visited in 1954 by an ANARE sledging party led by R. Dovers.
