A New Zealand mountaineer of international repute, Ball climbed Mount Lister with an Italian party, 1976-77, and camped on this glacier. Died in climbing accident 1993. |

It was included in a survey carried out by C R Eklund, in 1957. Named by USACAN after R L Cameron, a member of the 1957 Wilkes party. |
