rising to c. 700m N of Gourdon Peak (q.v.), Booth Island, Graham Coast, was mapped by FAE, 1903-05, in 1904 and named Pic Louise (Charcot, 1906b, p.473) or Sommet Louise (Charcot, 1908, map p.36) after Louise Gourdon, sister of E. Gourdon (Gourdon Peak, q.v.). Mount Sainte Louise, in error (BA, 1930, p.85). Mont Sainte-Louise (France. SHM, 1937, p.407). Louise Peak (USHO, 1943, p.136; APC, 1959a, p.8; BA, 1974, p.190). Pico Luisa (Argentina. MM, 1953, p.287; Pierrou, 1970 p.493). Mount Louise (APC, 1955, p.14). The peak was photographed from the air by FIDASE, 1956-57, and surveyed from the ground by FIDS-RN, 1956-58. Monte Louise (Chile. DNH, 1962, p.174; IHA, 1974, p.189).

Peak, 625 m, standing 1 mi N of Gourdon Peak on Booth Island, in the Wilhelm Archipelago. First charted by the FrAE under Charcot, 1903-05, and named by him for the sister of Ernest Gourdon, geologist of the expedition.

Originalmente, fue cartografiado por la Expedición Francesa del Dr. Jean B. Charcot, de los años 1903-1905, quien le dio este nombre por la hermana de Ernest Gourdon, geólogo de la Expedición.
