MacNamara, USARP pedologist and exchange scientist, "Molodezhnaya", Australian Antarctic Territory, winter 1967 (USBGN, 1969, p.119; USGS sheet SV 11-20/4, 1969). Named by US-ACAN for Edlen E. MacNamara, USARP exchange scientist at Molodezhnaya Station winter 1967.
