Named after Pro.f Dietrich Möller (b. 1927), German engineer, Professor and Director, Institute for Land Survey, Technical University of Braunschweig from 1972. Deputy Leader and in charge of geodetic work at Filchner Station, 1979-80, co-ordinator of glacial geodetic programme on Filchner and Ronne Ice Shelves, from 1980.

An ice stream flowing NNE into Ronne Ice Shelf to the W of Foundation Ice Stream. The drainage basin of this ice stream is separated by Rambo Nunataks from the drainage basin of Foundation Ice Stream. The feature was delineated from U.S. Landsat imagery commissioned by the Institut fur Angewandte Geodasie, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, recorded January-March, 1986. Named after Dietrich Moller, German engineer, Professor and Director, Institute for Land Survey, Technical University of Braunschweig, from 1972; Deputy Leader and in charge of geodetic work at Filchner Station on Ronne Ice Shelf, 1979-80.

Named during German Antarctic Expedition 1985/86
