A raft-like nunatak in the centre of the lower Nimrod ice falls. Discovered by the northern party of the New Zealand Geological and Survey Antarctic Expedition (1961-62). Named after the raft Kon-Tiki which drifted across the Pacific Ocean from east to west in 1947.

A group of five small peaks about 4 km north-west of Mount Starlight in the Athos Range, Prince Charles Mountains. Recorded on terrestrial photographs taken by R.H. Lacey, surveyor at Mawson in 1955, and aerial photographs by ANARE in 1959 and 1965. Named after C. Kotterer, weather observer-in-charge at Davis in 1964.

A group of nunataks about 13 km north of Mount Parviainen in the Tula Mountains, Enderby Land. The geology of these outcrops was investigated by geologists from the Soviet Antarctic Expedition who called them Gory Kozlova (Kozlov Mountains) after M.I. Kozlov, Soviet Polar pilot.

The peninsula lies 2.5 kms north-west of Edgeworth David and about 3.0 kms north-east of Cape Hordern. The peninsula is roughly oval in shape measuring about 1.3 kms by 0.8 kms. It rises to a peak near its western edge. Mapped by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1956.

An area of submerged rocks about 1 km from Anchorage Island, Vestfold Hills. The rocks extend over an area of about 90 m by 55 m and have a least depth of 1 metre. Depths of 5 m or less extend for about 132 m eastwards. The shoal area was delineated and fixed by d'A.T. Gale, hydrographic surveyor with the ANARE Expedition on the MV Thala Dan led by D.F. Styles in 1961.

A low, ice-covered point on the coast of Wilhelm II Land about 46 km WSW of Cape Filchner. Delineated from air photographs taken by USN Operation Highjump and named by USACAN after G.R. Krause of the US Navy Hydrographic Office, who served as a surveyor with USN Operation Windmill (1947-48).

A flat-topped mountain in the Miller Range, south-east of the Argosy Glacier and west of the Marsh Glacier. Plotted by the US Geological Survey from air photographs taken by the US Navy in 1960-62. Named after L.W. Kreiling, traverse engineer at McMurdo Station in the winter of 1961, Ellsworth Land Traverse in 1961-62 and Roosevelt Island in 1962-63.

A bay in the western part of the Cook Ice Shelf, George V Land. Discovered and named by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition, 1957-58, in the Ob I. O.G. Krichak headed Aerological and Meteorological Divisions of the 2nd and 5th Soviet Antarctic Expeditions. Dr. Krichak and 7 other scientists perished in a fire in the building of the Aerological and Meteorological Division in Mirny Observatory on August 3 1960. Concerning the Bay named in memory of my father - According to "Russian and soviet geography names on maps of Antarctica" by L. I. Dubrovin and M. A. Preobrajenskaya, Leningrad, Hydrometeorology Press, Ed. P. K. Senko,1976. " .... Krichak Bay (68º 28 min S, 151º16 min E) located on the northern shore of Victoria Land (King George V Shore). Discovered and mapped by Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1958. Later named in honor of perished in Antarctica soviet meteorologist Dr. Oscar Grigorjevich Krichak (1911-1960)".
