That portion of Antarctica between 55 degrees E. and 60 degrees E. Named after Peter Kemp, who in the Brig Magnet, is reported to have sighted land in 1833. In 1930, BANZARE under Sir Douglas Mawson in the Discovery delineated the coastline from the junction with Enderby Land to that with Mac.Robertson Land. In 1936 the coast was rechartered by RRS William Scoresby.

A peak in the Stillwell Hills, just south-east of Stefansson Bay in Kemp Land. Discovered on about 5 January, 1930, by BANZARE under Sir Douglas Mawson, who called it Stanley Kemp Peak after Dr. Stanley W. Kemp, Director of Research of Discovery Investigations, 1924-36, and later called Kemp Peak as first names are not used for nomenclature matters.

A small peak about 1162 m high, protruding above the continental ice about 7 km south of Mt. Barr Smith on the western side of the Denman Glacier in Queen Mary Land. Discovered by the Western Base Party of AAE (1911-14) under Sir Douglas Mawson, who named it after A.L. Kennedy, a member of the expedition.

The northernmost of three rock outcrops in the northern part of the Manning Nunataks. The nunataks were photographed by USN Operation Highjump (1946-47) and ANARE (1957). They were visited by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1965 and by ANARE in 1969. Named after Kenneth A.Smith, radio officer at Mawson in 1969, a member of the ANARE Prince Charles Mountains survey party in 1969.

A ridge, about 13 km long, which falls from the north-east ridge of Midnight Plateau to the Darwin Glacier. It has several steep spurs plunging into Island Arena. Discovered by the Victoria University of Wellington Antarctic Expedition (1962-63). Named after J.P. Kennett, geologist with the expedition.

An ice plateau, exceeding 1,800 m above sea level, about 22 km long and 7 km wide, extending northward from Mount Egerton and Kiwi Pass to the vicinity of Mount Hamilton. Mapped from air photographs taken by the US Navy. Named by USACAN after Cdr. D.F. Kent, USN, logistics officer to Admiral Dufek at the outset of USN Operation Deepfreeze in 1956-57.

Named for Dr. Knowles Kerry, (retired Principal Research Scientist at the Australian Antarctic Division), one of the dominant figures for the present Australian Antarctic biology program and the "father" of the Marine Biology Program, one of the main proponents of the "ecosystem approach" to management of the Antarctic region that is now included in the Convention for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR), initial chairman of the Working Group on the CCAMLR Ecosystem Monitoring program (CEMP), leader and Chief Scientist of the BIOMASS (FIBEX) program, leader and chief scientist on numerous ANARE voyages, co-author and editor on several Antarctic books and films and recipient of the Antarctic Polar Medal (1993).

A snow-covered rock ridge about 68 km south-east of the summit of Mount Menzies in the southern Prince Charles Mountains. Photographed from ANARE aircraft in 1957 and 1960.Named after D.O. Keyser, radio officer at Mawson and a member of an ANARE field party which failed to reach the feature in 1961 because of impassable crevasses.

A small, isolated reef, which uncovers at low water, with depths of less than six metres extending 27 m southwards. It is about 2.5 km from the summit of Shirley Islands, Windmill Islands. Charted during a hydrographic survey of Newcomb Bay and Approaches by d'A.T. Gale, hydrographic surveyor with the ANARE expedition on the MVThala Dan in 1962, led by Philip Law. Named from Kilby Island.
