Sensor Name : | MK-4 |
Sensor Description : | MK-4 is a type of camera. The type of survey was multizonal & colour spectrozonal. The average height of survey was 200-350km. The average scale of survey was 1:650,000-1:1,200,000. The camera had spectral zones with a range of: 570-680, 680-810nm for spectrozonal & 635-690, 810-900, 515-565, 460-505, 580-800, 400-700nm for multizonal. The frame size is 180x180mm. The area covered on the ground is 117x117km or 216x216km. The longitudinal overlap of images is 60%. KFA-1000 cameras were typically mounted on (Russian) Resurs-F2 spacecraft, or Cosmos satellites. |
Spatial Resolution : | 6-8metres |
Additional Information : | Russia and Earth Observation Systems |
Platform : | Resurs |
Description : | Resurs vehicles were launched from the Soyuz spacecraft by the USSR space program. They carried photographic equipment for the taking of multizonal and multispectral photographs of various scale. Resurs F-1 with 2 x KFA-1000 cameras and 3 x KATE-200 cameras. Resurs F-2 with 1 x MK-4 camera. First launched in 1981. Both satellites had an average altitude of 270km, and had 82.3 km coverage. |
