True Geographic Pole
Either of two points of intersection of the surface of the Earth with the Earth's axis of rotation. The location of this pole moves approximately 10m a year and is recalculated each year. The true south geographic pole is located near Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station. The geographic pole is also sometimes referred to as the geodetic pole.
