Part of an overland route from Balkan Snowfield via Willan Saddle and Orpheus Pass to Mount Friesland and upper Perunika Glacier areas. Orpheus is a name of world and national culture originally applied in 1995 to a nearby peak but subsequently transferred due to prioriry of the existing British name form Willan Nunatak.
