Ventisquero Canal [translation of English name] (Chile. DNH chart LII, 1947). Primera Garganta [=first pass], in association with Thunder Glacier (q.v.) (Argentina. MM, 1953, p.270d). The glacier was resurveyed by FIDS from Norsel in 1955. Glaciar Canal (Argentina. MM chart 129, 1957; Pierrou, 1970, p.234). Glaciar Channel, Ventisquero Channel, as rejected forms (Argentina.
