NW-SE pass between Chapman Glacier and Meiklejohn Glacier, George VI Sound, following surveys by BAS, 1962-72, was so named in association with Creswick Peaks (q.v.) (APC, 1977, p.9; USGS sketch map Palmer Land (North Part), 1979; BAS 250P sheet SR 19-20/10, 2-DOS 1984).
