Dater (1909-74), USN historian; member of USACAN, 1962-74 (Chairman, 1973-74); co-author (with E. Schulthess and G.J. Dufek) of Antarctica (Zurich, 1959) (APC, 1977, p.10; BA, 1977, p.8).
