off NW end of Chavez Island, Grandidier Channel, Graham Coast, were photographed from the air by FIDASE, 1956-57, and surveyed from the ground by FIDS from "Prospect Point", 1957-58; so named because the islands provided sheltered camp sites for FIDS parties and several small boat anchorages for an RN Hydrographic Survey Unit in 1957-58 (APC, 1959a, p.11; BA chart 3573, 26.viii.1960).
