Narrative

A 5km long lake, projecting in an arrowhead shape from the north end of Hurricane Ridge, between the margins of Koettliz Glacier to the west and Discovery Glacier to the east, Scott Coast, Victoria Land.

Named For

Named by United States Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) (1999) in association with Discovery Glacier, a partial source for the lake, and Mount Discovery (q.v.), the dominant feature in the vicinity.
