A small island in the S part of Newcomb Bay, lying 0.1 mi E of McMullin Island in the Windmill Islands. Mapped from USN Operation HighJump air photos, 1946-47. Named by ANCA for F. Boving, third officer on M.V. Thala Dan in 1965, who assisted in a hydrographic survey in the vicinity.
