Narrative

Conspicuous volcanic knob forming the N side of the entrance to Moon Bay in the E part of Livingston Island, in the South Shetland Islands. Photographed and named by Scottish geologist David Ferguson in 1913-14. The feature was renamed High Point in 1935 by DI personnel on the Discovery II but the original name has been approved.
