The myriad of islands, the largest of which are Booth and Hovgaard Islands, extending from Bismarck Strait SW to Lumus Rock, off the W coast of Graham Land. Discovered by a German expedition under Dallmann, 1873-74. He named them for Wilhelm I, then Emperor of Germany and King of Prussia.
