This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Peak rising to 1,180 m in Friesland Ridge, Tangra Mountains, Livingston Island; 5.87 km SSW of Mount Friesland, 2 km SW of St. Cyril Peak, 5 km WNW of Samuel Point and 6.6 km NE of Barnard Point. Surmounting Ruen Icefall to the N, Charity Glacier to the SW, and Prespa Glacier to the SE. Bulgarian survey in 1995-96. Named after St. Methodius (815-885 AD).
