This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 10.3 km long and 2.7 km wide glacier on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land situated SW of Kladorub Glacier and NE of Enravota Glacier. Draining the SE slopes of Detroit Plateau, flowing southeastwards, and S of Papiya Nunatak turning E to enter Desislava Cove in Weddell Sea NE of Richard Knoll. British mapping in 1978. Named after the settlement of Vrachesh in Western Bulgaria.
