This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered ridge rising to 1400 m on the E side of Stribog Mountains on Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Extends 10.4 km from Taran Plateau to the NW to Bov Point to the SE. Steep and partly ice-free SW slopes. Surmounts Malpighi Glacier to the SW and Svetovrachene Glacier to the NE. British mapping in 1980 and 2008. Named after the settlement of Basarbovo in Northeastern Bulgaria.
