This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered saddle of elevation 600 m on Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago, connecting Stavertsi Ridge on the ENE to Stribog Mountains on the WSW. Situated 6.53 km SSE of Virchow Hill, 3.35 km SW of Mount Cabeza, 7.67 km WNW of Petroff Point and 1 km NNE of Regianum Peak. Part of the glacial divide between Paré Glacier to the NW and a part of the ice cap draining east-southeastwards into Hill Bay. British mapping in 1980 and 2008. Named after the ancient Roman station of Viamata in Southern Bulgaria.
