This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

A prominent rocky point at the north-western extremity of Bell Bay in Kemp Land. Mapped from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Skagen by Norwegian cartographers. The name possibly comes from the feature of the same name in the extreme north of Denmark.
