Three small, isolated nunataks approximately 160 m high located about 1 km apart and aligned in a general north-east south-west direction projecting through blue ice just east of the Northcliffe Glacier, Queen Mary Land.
Nunataks discovered by the Western Base Party of Douglas Mawson's Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-14) on 14 December 1912, when they established a depot at the central nunatak. On 25 December 1912 a ceremony was performed by Frank Wild, leader of the Western Base Party, taking possession of Queen Mary Land for the British Crown.
