The peninsula lies approximately 13 kms north-east of Thomas Island and about 8.0 kms west of the Remenchus Glacier. It is generally low lying and contains a large number of small hillocks above a plain of about 20 m above sea level. The highest point is about 65m above sea level. The peninsula measures about 4.5 by 1.5 kms. Mapped by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1956.
