This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer.
A creek at the north western end of Fairchild Beach on Heard Island which flows parallel to and just south west of the main lateral moraine south east of Compton Lagoon. The largest fur seal breeding colony on Heard Island in 1987/88 was at the mouth of this creek.
