A glacier 11-13 km wide, flowing about 95 km from the Polar Plateau to the Ross Ice Shelf, just south of Cape Parr. Discovered by the Southern Party of the New Zealand Geological and Survey Antarctic Expedition (1960-61) and named by the party to commemorate star observations taken in the vicinity.
