The sector of Antarctica discovered during the 1929-30 voyage of BANZARE under Sir Douglas Mawson.Surveyed by BANZARE in greater detail during the 1930-31 voyage when landings were made at Scullin Monolith and Cape Bruce. Named by Mawson after Sir MacPherson Robertson of Melbourne, a patron of the expedition.
