El nombre corresponde al apellido del general Francisco Javier Gillmore Stock, Obispo titular y vicario general castrense de las Fuerzas Armadas de Chile, quien viajó a la Antártica con la Expedición Antártica Chilena de 1962-1963. Montaña de 1.472 metros de elevación, que se ubica a aproximadamente 2 millas al NW de la boca del glaciar Morrison, en el fondo del saco de la ensenada Reales Cédulas, costa E de la península Tierra de O'Higgins.
