This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered peak with precipitous rocky NW, SE and SW slopes rising to 850 m and forming the W extremity of Bigla Ridge on Foyn Coast, Antarctic Peninsula. Situated 4.6 km S of Vologes Ridge, 6.68 km WSW of Mount Mecheva and 5.05 km NW of Chuypetlovo Knoll. Surmounting Sleipnir Glacier to the N and Beaglehole Glacier to the S. British mapping in 1976. Named after Kameliya Stancheva, participant in the 1996/97 Bulgarian Antarctic campaign, for her support for the Bulgarian Antarctic programme.
