A prominent mountain peak approximately 2.8km northwest of Lyttelton Peak, in Cobham Range.
Discovered by the N.Z. Geological Expedition (1964-65). The name means 'arrow' in te reo Maori (the Maori language). The triangular cross-section of the mountain when viewed from most directions suggests an arrow-head.
