This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
An Emperor penguin colony just east of the Taylor Glacier in Mac.Robertson Land. Unlike most Emperor penguin colonies, it is not on sea ice, but land. Discovered in October 1954 by an ANARE sledging party led by Robert Dovers.
