A broad ice shelf at the head of a large embayment, consisting of Prydz Bay and MacKenzie Bay. A prominent point of the ice shelf was mapped by BANZARE (1929-31) on 11 February, 1931. Further exploration showed that Cape Amery had broken off and floated away, so the name Amery was applied to the whole ice shelf.

East-west ridge running to the north of The Stage. This ridge links the northern ends of the West, Central and Aisle Ridges. Name derived from the ridge's position relative to The Stage.

An east-west ridge running to the north of The Stage on the north side of Renegar Glacier, Scott Coast. The ridge links the northern ends of the West, Central, and East Aisle Ridges. So named by a NZGS field party, 1977-78, led by D. N. B. Skinner. The name is derived from the ridge''s position relative to The Stage (q.v.). Not: Back Drop Ridge.
