The ship the "Lord Nelson" was wrecked here in 1830. The name appears on the 1891 sketch map prepared by Captain Fairchild of the New Zealand Government steamer 'Hinemoa'. The map was used in the preparation of the 1892 edtion of the Admriralty Chart.

A glacier flowing ENE between Anderson Pyramid and Sample Nunataks in Oates Land. Mapped from air photographs taken by the US Navy in 1960-62. Named after Lieut. O.B. Lovejoy, USN, pilot with USN Special Development Squadron VX-6 in Antarctica in 1962-63 and 1963-64.

A glacier, mostly in the Ross Dependency, which flows south from a common nivi with the Prince of Wales Glacier (Ross Dependency), about 6.4 km east of Mount Gregory. Discovered by the N.Z. Geological Expedition (1964-65). Named after D. Lowe, a member of the expedition.

A large glacier glowing into the Nimrod Glacier between Cobham Range and Geologists Range. This region was explored by a party from the N.Z. Geological Expedition (1964-65). Named after W.R. Lucy, surveyor with the expedition.

A narrow nunatak, about 4 km long, in the southern part of the Manning Nunataks, in the eastern part of the Amery Ice Shelf. The Manning Nunataks were photographed by USN Operation Highjump (1946-47) and ANARE (1957). They were visited by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1965 and ANARE in 1969. Named after T.S. Luff, senior diesel mechanic at Mawson in 1970, a member of the ANARE glaciological traverse party on the Amery Ice Shelf in January, 1970.

An ice covered point marked by prominent rock outcrops, just north of Mirny station on the coast of Queen Mary Land. Charted by AAE (1911-140) under Mawson. Named by USACAN after Lieut. Cmdr. H.W. Mabus, USN, executive officer of USS Edisto, which took part in USN Operation Windmill (1947-48) along this coast.
