A rock ridge on McLeod Massif in the eastern part of the Aramis Range in the Prince Charles Mountains, about 8 km west of Beaver Lake. Mapped from ANARE air photographs. The feature was the site of a tellurometer station during the ANARE Prince Charles Mountains survey in 1969. Named after J. Fox, technical officer (Survey), the leader of one of the survey parties in the Prince Charles Mountains.

This submarine bank north of Mackenzie Bay. It was located by BANZARE (1929-31) under Sir Douglas Mawson on 27-28 December, 1929, and extended by further observations by BANZARE in February, 1931. It was also explored by a Norwegian expedition under Lars Christensen on 4 February, 1931, and named by him after the polar ship Fram.

Discovered in February, 1931, by BANZARE under Sir Douglas Mawson who named the individual ranges and mountains. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Framnes Fjella.

A reef in the Mackellar Islands lying to the north and north-west of Cape Denison, on the coast of George V Land. Discovered by AAE (1911-14) under Sir Douglas Mawson, who named the group of islands after C.D. Mackellar of London, a patron of the expedition.

A small rock about 2 km west of Cape Arkona on Heard Island. The Australian National Mapping Expedition, 1980 confirmed the position of the rock. Named after the Franklin, one of the sealing tenders of Messrs Perkins and Smith of New London, Connecticut, USA, who first exploited the seals on Heard Island in 1855.

A very large, badly crevassed ice dome about 72 km south-east of Onley Hill, Mac.Robertson Land. The dome was the site of a tellurometer station established during an ANARE traverse from Mawson to Church Mountain, led by John Manning, surveyor at Mawson in 1967. The names describes the feelings of the party, which was considerably delayed there because of vehicle breakdown and forced to leave the survey incomplete until the following spring.

A ridge at the northern extremity of the Cobham Range. Discovered by the N.Z. Geological Expedition (1964-65), which so named it because although from below it looked a simple climb, great difficulty was experienced in traversing it.

One of the Haswell Islands, about 1.5 km south of Haswell Island. The Western Base Party of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-14) plotted this island and another just north of it as one island and called it Fulmar Island because of the colony of Southern Fulmars on it. The Soviet Antarctic Expedition has shown that there are two islands and has applied the name Fulmar to the southernmost.
