The lake appears to be the deepest, and is the lowest below sea level, of the chain of lakes extending eastward along Broad Peninsula in the Vestfold Hills. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37). First visited by an ANARE party led by Phillip Law in January, 1955. |
