The southernmost large island of the Taylor Islands in the Bunger Hills. There are cliffs along the northern coast and the highest point on the island is on the northern coast. From there a saddle runs across to another rounded peak roughly in the middle and there is a gully running northwards on the western side of the island towards the saddle. The island was charted by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1956.

An island about 45 m above sea level in the northern part of the Stanton Group, about 5km north-west of Oldham Island. The Stanton Group was mapped and named by BANZARE under Sir Douglas Mawson in February, 1931. The islands were first mapped from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936) and called Kamelen (The Camel) by Norwegian cartographers.

A conspicuous ice-free peak, 2,410 m above sea level, 11 km north-west of Mount Gniewek, just north of the head of Carlyon Glacier. Mapped from air photographs taken by the US Navy. Named by USACAN after Lt. Cdr. R.A. Kanak, USN, commander of USS Durant, ocean station ship in support of aircraft flights between New Zealand and McMurdo during USN Operation Deepfreeze 1963.

A colony of emperor penguins that has only been seen from aerial imagery. Members of the Third Soviet Antarctic Expeditions discovered the colony in August 1958 on a flight over the West Ice Shelf. It was rediscovered in a satellite image by BAS in October 2018. Note: emperor penguin colonies may not remain in one fixed location.

An island about 3 km long in the southern part of the Øygarden Group. First visited by an ANARE sledging party led by Robert Dovers in 1954. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from aerial photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Karm.

A small island on the western side of Harald Bay, Oates Land. Photographed by USN Operation Highjump (1946-47), the Third Soviet Maritime Antarctic Expedition (1957-58) and ANARE (1959). The island was called Ostrov Kartografov by the Soviet expedition.

An ice covered plateau about 24 km long and from 3.2 to 6.4 km wide, located on the eastern side of the Churchill Mountains between the lower parts of Forda and Flynn Glaciers. Its bluff-like eastern side is bounded by the Starshot Glacier. It was mapped from air photographs taken by the US Navy.

A lake about 0.5 by 0.3 kms in size about 0.3 kms west of Kemp Peak. The lake is rectangular in shape and is flanked on the west by the ice of the Dovers Glacier. It lies at the base of Kemp Peak and drains from its NW corner via a short stream to tidal water.
