Recorded on terrestrial photographs taken by R.H. Lacey, surveyor at Mawson in 1955, and aerial photography by ANARE in 1959 and 1965. Named after W.L. Turnbull, radio supervisor at Mawson in 1965.

A rock outcrop, bisected by a glacier running SE-SW, about 20 km east of Wilson Bluff at the southern end of the Lambert Glacier. Discovered in November, 1956, during a photographic flight by ANARE aircraft and triangulated by G. Knuckey in 1958. Named after Doug R. Twigg, radio supervisor at Mawson in 1958.

A twin-peaked mountain in the southern part of the David Range. The range was discovered in February, 1931, by BANZARE under Sir Douglas Mawson. Mapped from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Tvitoppen (The Twin Peak). Name is descriptive of the feature.

A mountain just north of Flynn Lake. Edgar Waite, then Director of the Canterbury Museum, Christchurch, was biologist on the First Sub-Antarctic cruise of SY Aurora, 17 May 1912 - 11 July 1912, and visited the Island as a passenger on the Tutanekai in August 1913.
