A peak on the eastern side of the Matusevich Glacier in Oates Land, about 9 km south of Mount Thompson. Sketched and photographed by Phillip Law on 20 February 1959, during the ANARE Expedition on the MV Magga Dan. Named after R F M Dalton, (then) Technical Officer (aircraft) of the Antarctic Division, Melbourne, and second-in-charge of the expedition.

A prominent, bare rock mountain, 2099 m high, which is just west of the Warren Range. Plotted from U S Navy air photographs. Named by USACAN after Major L L Darbyshire, USMC, pilot with Air Development Squadron Six (VX-6), 1960-61 and 1961-62.

A rock outcrop about 780 m above sea level, on the southern side of Entriken Glacier. Mapped from air photographs taken by the US Navy. Named by USACAN after E A Deleon, equipment operator at McMurdo Station in 1963.

A mountain, 2,190 m high, rising above the polar plateau just west of Mount Littlepage and Willett Range. Plotted from US Navy photographs. Named by USACAN after HH DeWitt, scientific leader on the USNS Eltanin (1962-63), who also served on the USS Glacier (1958-59).

A peak about 3000 m above sea level, east of the main divide south of Byrd Glacier. Discovered by the Northern Party of the NZ Geological and Survey Antarctic Expedition (1960-61). Named after R Dick, Surveyor-General, New Zealand.

The high point, about 670 metres high near the centre of the Laurens Peninsula, Heard Island. Named after Lt-Cmdr George M. Dixon, RANVR, Commanding Officer of HMAS Labuan (formerly LST 3501) which landed and relieved the 1948 and 1949 parties of ANARE.

A high, exposed, brown rock ridge trending east-west and forming part of the Athos Range. The northern face is very steep. Height 2027 m above sea level. Seen from the Stinear Nunataks during the 1954 southern journey by Robert Dovers. The position of the mountain was plotted by R. Lacey in December, 1955, during a southern journey led by John M.Béchervaise. Named after Robert Dovers, Officer-in-Charge at Mawson in 1954.

A ridge approximately 4 km long. It is on the northern face of the Aramis Range in the Prince Charles Mountains, west of Mt. Hollingshead. Sighted by the ANARE southern party led by William G. Bewsher in January, 1957, and named after Dr. D.A. Dowie, Medical Officer at Mawson in 1956.

A high point, west of the Baudissin Glacier on Heard Island. The name was proposed in the report of the Gauss expedition, 1901-3. Professor E. von Drygalski (1865-1949) was leader of the expedition and one of the landing party on 3 February 1902.

An ice-covered rock mass, with two smaller outcrops, about 17 km east of Mount McCauley, in the southern Prince Charles Mountains. Discovered from ANARE aircraft during photographic flights in 1956. Named after R.B. Dummett, formerly Managing Director, B.P. Australia Ltd., in recognition of the valuable assistance given to ANARE by the company.

A mountain about 2840 m above sea level, about 44 km west of Cape Douglas on the western side of the Ross Ice Shelf. Discovered by the British National Antarctic Expedition (1901-04) under Captain R.F. Scott, who named it Durnford Bluff after Admiral Sir John Durnford, a Junior Naval Lord, 1901-04. The generic mount is considered more appropriate than bluff.
