Macquarie Island was relieved during the stay at the Island. After unloading stores in Buckles Bay, the ship landed stores and materials for a new auroral observatory at Hurd Point. Lusitania Bay and Sandy Bay field huts were resupplied. Twelve sheep were off loaded at the station.
