All scientific data collected by the Australian Antarctic program (AAp) are eventually described in the Catalogue of Australian Antarctic and Subantarctic Metadata (CAASM). CAASM can be used to search through AAp data descriptions, and it also provides links to access publicly available datasets, which can either be immediately downloaded or obtained from the Australian Antarctic Data Centre (AADC).
Macquarie Island Isthmus Orthomosaic or aerial photography taken from DJI M350 drone (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle UAV or Remotely Piloted Aircraft RPA) over three missions during Voyage 4 resupply May 2025. Light detection and ranging (LIDAR) Riegl miniVUX and imagery by Sony Alpha 6000 digital SLR. Flights at 80m above takeoff and flying speed 8m/s. Data processed by Fugro. Combined Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) covering Macquarie Island Base and surrounds. Metadata file included. Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) point cloud, orthoimagery, Digital Elevation Model (DEM), slope, aspect, and Model Key Points (MKP).
