This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The snow ditch 40km away from the exposed rock area of Larsemann Hills in south, which has the length of 40km. The ditch is north to south, curved, bent eastwards and facing the sun. It was named when satellite images surveying and mapping in 1993.
