The inner rock of what was formerly The Sisters, located off the northern extremity of Cape Adare, in northern Victoria Land. The Sisters was named in 1899 by the BAE, 1898-1900. Rose Rock was named by Campbell in 1911-12 at the suggestion of Levick for a favourite comic song which concerned two sisters named Rose and Gertrude.
