Nunatak, 1,100 m, standing 16 mi N of the Austkampane Hills of the Sor Rondane Mountains. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1946 from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37, and in 1957 from air photos taken by USN Operation HighJump, 1946-47. Named Nordtoppen (the north peak) by the Norwegians because of its position in the group.
