This name originates from United Kingdom. It is part of the Gazetteer of the British Antarctic Territory and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Flat area that runs NE-SW across Gourlay Peninsula from Fur Seal Cove, to the E side of Caloplaca Cove, Signy Island, South Orkney Islands. Surveyed by FIDS 1947-50. Photographed from the air by Royal Navy 1968. Demarcates penguin colonies and areas inhabited by fur seals. Named descriptively as the feature is used as a route across the peninsula by the penguins. (APC, 2004).
